Ferndale is located in the northwest corner of Washington State near the Nooksack River. Ferdale was incorporated in 1907. Ferndale was once called “Jam” because it is near a big log jam on the Nooksack River. Renamed to Ferndale by a school teacher that admired the ferns growing around the schoolhouse.

For fast food, this is a pretty top notch burger joint. Drive up ordering and fast service are the usual here. I like the quality of the food. The burgers are always the same, never overcooked or dry. Fresh, juicy, and tasty imo. The o-rings are slightly sweet, and the fries have some skin attached for a little extra crispness. I don't eat here a lot, but when I do the food and service always seem to be the same and that makes for a good repeat experience. Well done.

The first day of winter I got one of the Texas toast bacon sandwiches with cheese and it was the bomb lots of bacon I'm going back the next day and one piece of bacon oh yeah it was the Texas bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich it's so good. You have to try it

We stopped here on our way back to the border and were pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and friendly and the milkshakes were amazing. I wish we had milkshakes like this one back home. Seriously, it was more like a cup of ice cream.

My favorite drink is the Blue Coconut Ice Cream Slush. The staff assured me that it did not contain any amount of hedgehog, despite its color. After scientific research which involved my drinking the entire thing on the drive home, I found their statement to be true. 5 stars.
